London-based four-piece Talk Show first caught our ear with the lead single from their debut album, which fused rock and electronic music in innovative ways while paying homage to the Blade rave scene in the track’s official video. Since releasing “Closer,” the band has shared a handful of additional singles before Effigy drops on February 16, including the more hip-hop-indebted “Gold,” which sounds like “Sabotage” being karaoke’d by Squid.

For their “Neighborhoods” session, the group brought the single to their local pub, The Spurstowe Arms, in London’s Hackney neighborhood where they gave an energetic performance in the establishment’s rain-soaked beer garden. “Trying to figure out how we were gonna do the session without a drumkit was pretty challenging,” notes vocalist Harrison Swann of the obstacles they faced when filming, “then obviously because it’s December it decided to rain for the whole afternoon… I suppose that’s typically accurate for our London.”

Check out their performance below.
